About Pine of Branch & Pine

Hi, my name is Pine. I am a certified professional dog trainer, and behavior specialist turned marketing wiz kid. I first got an interest in marketing and the use of digital marketing strategies during the start of the pandemic when quarantine forced my to pivot my entire business in the blink of an eye. I had been working as a professional dog trainer for over a decade at that point. But overnight I was forced to rethink everything I was doing and conjure ways to engage with my clients, teach them and their dogs while being unable to stand in the same space. This forced pivot also required me to shift how I was marketing myself, and reaching new people.

Truthfully until that point I relied almost entirely on word-of-mouth referrals. Which truthfully was not always reliable to generate as much capital. But I found myself like so many others having to 100% shift my business. It was a brand new platform, and a brand new way of doing things. But I wasn't alone. I was in a see of thousands of other dog trainers who were also having to launch online training programs.

So I rolled up my sleeves and got to work learning how to market what I was doing apart from the thousand of other trainers doing the same. I picked up books, I took online classes and webinars. I sat through multiple master classes learning language, software and techniques that were entirely foreign to me. And I began to discover the value of branding, and I realized how powerful social media could be when utilized to promote a mission.

My college education was in creative writing and I found it came in handy in designing images, graphics and materials to reach a broader audience than my local area. Over the last four years I have built a solid social media following, a reputation in my industry and a deep love of the power of branding and digital marketing techniques that focus on education and a mission. Combing my love of words and a lifelong passion for creative expression has lead me down a path of marketing joy and constant evolution.
